Adventure Awaits Sacred Heart

This is a large, heart shaped, mixed-media piece entitled, "Adventure Awaits", is made up of several components that include: 5 wood heart shaped pieces, a resin sacred heart, a bronze finished metal scroll piece, a bronze finished skull and lock (which hangs at the bottom of the heart), 7 xacto blades, glass leaves, wired red bead drops, upholstery tacks, wood/resin/polymer clay flowers and leaves. Across the center of the sacred heart is a gold metal piece that reads, "Adventure Awaits". The entire piece has been painted with acrylic and metallic paint and varnished with a gloss finish. All of the elements have been securely mounted to the piece.

The measurements are approximately 10 1/2" x  9" x 3" (at highest, widest and deepest points). The back of the piece has been painted a solid color and has been varnished with the same gloss finish. The heart has a nice weight to it and also includes a sawtooth hanger on the back; it's ready to hang. The colors are clear, vivid and accent each other nicely! I've titled,  initialed and dated this piece on the back.

This sacred heart is colorful, lively and looks great in person!
