Armoured Heart VI

This is a large, heart shaped, mixed-media piece entitled, "Armoured Heart VI", is made up of several components that include: a wood sacred heart, two heart wood cut outs, several other wood shapes, glass leaves,  a single resin rose, wired gold/red bead drops, upholstery tacks, metal embellishments and gold braided trim. The entire piece has been painted with acrylic/metallic paint and varnished with a gloss finish. All of the elements have been securely mounted to the piece.

The measurements are approximately 12" x  10" x 3" (at highest, widest and deepest points). The back of the piece has been painted a solid color and has been varnished with the same gloss finish. The heart has a nice weight to it and also includes a sawtooth hanger on the back; it's ready to hang. The colors are clear and vivid and accent each other nicely! I've titled,  initialed and dated this piece on the back.

This sacred heart is colorful, lively and looks great in person!
