One-of-a-kind mixed-media Frida inspired art!

Frida Deer II

This is a mixed-media piece entitled,"Frida Deer II". The piece is made up of several components that include: a wood, shield, laser cut wood shapes, polymer clay flowers, glass leaves, two bronze metal charms and a single faux leather tassel. In the center sits a wood deer painted as Frida Kahlo and she's surrounded by flowers. The entire piece has been painted with acrylic and bronze metallic paint, has a crackle finish (on the shield) and is varnished with a gloss finish; all of the elements have been securely mounted. The piece measures 9 1/4" x 5 3/4" x 2" (at highest, widest and deepest points). The back of the piece has been painted a deep brown and it too has been varnished with the same gloss finish. The piece is light weight and also includes a sawtooth hanger on the back; it's ready to hang. The colors are clear, vivid and accent each other nicely! I've titled, initialed and dated the piece on the back.

"Frida Deer II" is colorful, lively and looks great in person!
