Original Painting: Equality: It's Overdue
ABOUT THIS PIECE:
This is an original painting entitled, "Equality: It's Overdue". In amongst her hair are phrases/words that have everything to do with equality. The image measures 12" x 12", the outside frame dimensions measure 13 1/2" x 13 1/2" x 2" and the piece has a nice weight to it. The image was painted with acrylic paint on a 2" deep wood panel, is varnished with a satin finish, is initialed and dated on the front. The frame is made of wood and gives a floating effect. The painting is "sitting" in the frame and it's been securely mounted in the frame. The back of the piece is finished and includes a hanger; it's ready to display out of the box! The back of the piece is titled, signed and dated.

EXHIBITION INFORMATION:
This piece was originally painted in February 2020 for an exhibition in March 2020, entitled, "I Am A Woman's Right" at Sierra Arts Foundation in Reno, Nevada. Due to the pandemic and the shut down, the event went unseen by the public.
