Vivo: Sacred Heart

This is a mixed-media piece entitled, "Vivo: Sacred Heart". The piece is made up of several components that include: wood, laser cut wood shapes, wood flowers, resin flowers, polymer clay flowers, two resin skulls and a mini-print of my original acrylic painitng, "Vivo!". The mini-print is mounted into the sacred heart, is sharp, clear and bright; it's surrounded by the mentioned embellishments. The entire piece has been painted with acrylic and gold metallic paint, varnished with a gloss finish and all of the elements have been securely mounted. The piece measures 7" x 8 1/2" x 2" (at highest, widest and deepest points). The back of the piece has been painted black and it too has been varnished with the same gloss finish. The piece has a nice weight to it and also includes a sawtooth hanger on the back; it's ready to hang. The colors are clear, vivid and accent each other nicely! I've titled, signed and dated the piece on the back.

"Vivo: Sacred Heart" is colorful, lively and looks great in person!
