Armoured Heart IV

This is a heart shaped, mixed-media piece entitled, "Armoured Heart IV". The piece is made up of several components that include: wood, laser cut wood shapes, a fine bisque flaming sacred heart, nails, ten xacto blades, silver and gold vinyl-like braided ribbon, metal flourishes, glass leaves, resin roses and silver charms. The entire piece has been painted with acrylic and metallic paint, varnished with a gloss finish and all of the elements have been securely mounted. The piece measures 12" x 10" x 3" (at highest, widest and deepest points). The back of the piece has been painted a solid color and it too has been varnished with the same gloss finish. The piece has a nice weight to it and also includes two sawtooth hangers on the back; it's ready to hang. The colors are clear and vivid and accent each other nicely! I've titled, signed and dated the piece on the back.

"Armoured Heart IV" is colorful, lively and looks great in person!
