Original Painting: Passion

This is an original painting that was inspired by the Mexican artista, Frida Kahlo. The portrait portion was painted on a wood oval and framed in a carved oval frame. The painting has been embellished with a metal thought token that reads, "Passion" and the frame has been embellished with resin roses and leaves. The painting and frame have been painted with acrylic/metallic paint, varnished with a satin finish and all elements have been securely mounted to the piece.

The measurements are approximately 12" x  7 1/2" x 1" (at highest, widest and deepest points). The back of the piece has been painted a solid color and has been varnished with the same satin finish. The piece is light weight and includes a sawtooth hanger on the back; it's ready to hang. The colors are clear, vivid and accent each other nicely! I've initialed and dated this piece on the back.

This Frida inspired piece is very colorful, lively and looks even better in person!
