Sacred Heart and Blue Flowered Sugar Skull

This is a mixed-media piece that is made of a heavyweight plaster featuring a painted sugar skull affixed to the front; the entire piece has been painted with acrylic/metallic paint. The embellishments include resin leaves, paper flowers, a bronze scrolled charm and metallic pearl accents.The entire piece has been varnished with a gloss finish and all of the elements have been securely mounted. The piece measures approximately 9 1/2" x 5 1/2" x 3 1/2" (at highest, widest and deepest points). The back of the piece has been painted and it too has been varnished with the same gloss finish. The piece is fairly heavy and includes a heavyweight wire hanger on the back; it's ready to hang. The colors are clear, vivid and accent each other nicely! I've signed and dated the piece on the back.
