Three Calavera Nicho/Shadowbox

This is a large nicho/shadowbox, mixed-media piece and is made up of several components that include: a large wood nicho/shadowbox, a resin light-up skull, several custom laser cut wood pieces, carved wood roses and two gold-toned skull metal embellishments, polymer clay flowers/leaves, resin leaves and all colors pearl stick pins.  The skull lights up and is removable (the pedestal it sits on is not removable). 

The entire piece has been painted with acrylic/metallic paint, it measures approximately 7 1/2" x  15" x 5" (at highest, widest and deepest points) and has been varnished with a satin finish. The back of the piece has been painted as well and has been varnished with the same satin finish. The piece has a nice weight to it and can sit on a table or shelf (no hanger is included). The colors are clear, vivid and accent each other nicely! I've initialed and dated this piece on the bottom.

This Dia de los Muertos nicho/shadowbox is colorful, lively and looks even better in person!
